tired and hungry

The other two illustrations- ink on paper, coloured in Photoshop, as a course project at CPIT. Based on the wonderful  cult pseudo-sci-fi Kurt Vonnegut book Slaughterhouse Five or The Children's Crusade: A duty Dance With Death. Or, I dunno, inspired by the book at least and designed to, I hope, compliment it. Who knows any more, I've been looking at them far too long and I'm tired and hungry.

work in progress- illustration

"...there is nothing intelligent to say about a massacre. Everybody is supposed to be dead, to never say anything or want anything ever again. Everything is supposed to be very quiet after a massacre, and it always is, except for the birds. And what do the birds say? All there is to say about a massacre, things like Poo-tee-weet?'"

-AHEM-

These are selected out-of-context unpolished early snippets from a Slaughterhouse Five-inspired illustration piece. A work in progress for a CPIT 3rd-year illustration assignment. If it doesn't suck too much I'll post it up here later.

Said the dismembered Nazi to the overzealous illustrator: "You jerk, you completely missed the point of the book."

scissors

Looks better when clicked on. Not by much.

So, I need some new ink pens. First person to buy me some can have some unsold comic books.

work in progress- illustration

Work in progress.
A rough drawing for half of a Slaughterhouse Five inspired illustration for course, coloured needlessly because I am very good at procrastinating. This illustration, when finished, will BLOW YOU AWAY. Unfortunately, I rarely finish anything I start.

mancreamcone

Very much a work in progress- modelling this guy in Maya. The cone will eventually grow into a beard, as any good cone will do. Until then, we have man-cone.

3D modelling is hard.

ALMOST CUBE

Wow. All that wasted, empty space at the bottom of the panel. Almost enough room there for another comic.

Disgusting.

A Photograph

In an effort to increase my productivity, I am attempting to update on here once a day (not including Saturdays). However, Sundays I don't really care about things, so here is a blurry photograph.

screwaround

This isn't actually anything. I just bought a shiny new graphics tablet and decided to have a quick screwaround before heading out for dinner. Oh, Wacom. Let's be together always.

Comic up later tonight if I don't get too distracted by the alluring sheen of New Shiny Thing.
