darn

So I dug into the archives to start the (very) early stages of assembling some sort of comic anthology only to discover that the folders labelled "2007" and "2008" are completely empty. This is unfortunate. These comics have somehow imploded when switching computers or something. Never mind. It only means that I simply have to dig through boxes for the originals and rescan two years worth of comics. Gah. On the plus side, it means there may be slightly more stylistic consistency within the book now? Also, it looks like the book's going to be upwards of 120 pages. Anyways, here's a couple of 'em.

THE END OF THE WORLD- alternate

An alternate version to the one on moonbeard.com at the moment. I sure do like to overuse background dot-patterns, but oddly only when they're eye-hurtingly executed. Confession: this is posted mostly so that creepy kid isn't at the top of this blog. Eurgh.

I have a "webcomic."

However, I loathe the term "webcomic" for no good reason, so henceforth I will be referring to it as an internetcomic. One word. Not as catchy.

Anyway, this internetcomic updates weekly on Mondays. That's every week. Every Monday. Have been wanting to start an internetcomic for a while, but design-skool deadlines and general laziness always got in the way. So now this exists. All feedback on the site and the comics therein graciously accepted.

There is (for now) still a full archive of all my older comics, published in Canta or otherwise, available at www.orphan.co.nz but this regrettably won't be around for much longer. 

EDIT: www.orphan.co.nz no longer exists. There is only Moonbeard. Those orphan comics may in future be archived on my current site somewhere, but not under the new banner- that would just be wrong. Currently working on putting together and publishing a best-of anthology of Fishing for Orphans comics for sale or free download on the new site. It's coming along nicely- set to be about 100-120 pages with a good mixture of new and old comics.

Good question, imaginary voice. It means that I won't be posting comics here any more. Unless they suck or just don't suit my internetcomic. So expect a) rants b) photos of my cat and c)misc

I will not post pictures of my cat.
